Hi,
the Norwegian Wood is really nice one.
However, I was not astonished by sexual scenes so much. I was mostly impressed by the evident sadness and melancholia contained in this novel…
I cried after finishing this one….
But Kafka on the shore is not so sad… sometimes it is really funny!

Just a stranger commenting … but I can tell you that everyone feels the same way when they start applying to college, but even more so when you come from the valley. I am originally from Clovis, Visalia, Fresno, etc. (in fact there is a gym in Clovis named after my uncle who died a few years ago). There is something about the valley that makes ya feel like you aren’t as smrt … maybe it’s the pesticides? … j/k

I’m much older now … MUCH - hah! The point is, everything happens for a reason and you should follow your own heart so that you will be able to soar, achieve and believe. Sometimes going with your gut or first choice is the RIGHT thing to do. Trust your gut.
